A variety of soft tissue manipulation techniques are used to treat stress, pain and a variety of physical conditions and disorders.

Massage Therapy can alleviate soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over use and chronic pain syndrome. It is also used in the prevention of recurring syndromes and migraine headaches.

Therastone Hot Stone Therapy

Smoothly polished Basalt stones are hand selected from around the world. They are gently heated, then gradually incorporated into the massage technique, becoming a warm extension of yoru therapist's palms. Feel your troubles melt away as you slip into the ultimate state of relaxation.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of fine needles into the body at specific points along the energy pathways (meridians) to prevent and treat a wide range of health problems. It is proven to be an effective and safe alternative and complementary treatment to medications and even surgery.

Acupuncture is not currently regulated in Ontario, therefore it is important to be aware of your practitioner's level of education and which style of acupuncture they perform. You practitioner at Ocean Therapy, has a minimum of 500 hours training and supervised clinical experience.

Gina also graduated from the Shiatsu School of Canada in Acupuncture and Moxabustion in 2001. She is currently upgrading to the proposed 2200 hour diploma requirement.
